Our Story:
In May 2009 Discover Church came to the Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter area with a simple purpose: to begin a church that is committed to helping people find life in Jesus Christ.
The journey to start Discover Church began while Chip was a student minister in Palm Beach County and found he wanted to create a church that would interest those people he was having conversations with in coffee shops and restaurants.
In order to prepare for this ambitious undertaking, Chip uprooted and moved to Virginia to attend seminary and graduated with his Masters of Divinity from Liberty Theological Seminary. During their time at Liberty, Chip and Brittni gathered several other like-minded people, Jordan (Chip’s brother) and Benj and Stephanie Litter, who agreed to move with them to south Florida to start Discover Church.
So why start a church in Palm Beach County? Honestly, there are many reasons but simply stated, this is coming home for Chip and Brittni, as she is a native of Jupiter and he was a student pastor in the area for 7 years. The reason for returning was a deep belief that God loves the people of Palm Beach County and wants them to find the life that is available in Jesus Christ.
This story has just barely begun to be written and so many great days are ahead for Discover Church. God is in the process of building a tremendous team of people to be the foundation of this great movement He longs to do in the Palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter area.
